Hi, I’m Helen, owner of Merlin & Co.
An independent dog walking and small pet service based in Winstone – ideally situated near Cirencester and surrounding villages.
I offer enjoyable group or individual walks for dogs and home visits for puppies or old and convalescing dogs, which gives you peace of mind when you are out at work or simply away for the day. Come home to a calmer pet and be happy knowing they have had fun and been exercised.
I can also offer a daily drop in service for cats and small animals allowing you to enjoy your time away knowing that someone is caring for your pet as well as checking on your home.
The Bare Bones
I understand that each individual dog has its own personality, traits and motivations. I always come to meet you and your dog in the first instance to gather necessary info to help me to look after them in the best possible way.
I will personally collect your dog from your home in a fully equipped, customised van to transport it in complete safety to and from its walk. If your dog prefers not to travel, other arrangements can be discussed.
I only ever walk a maximum of four dogs at a time – a suggested industry standard. This allows me to suitably monitor all the dogs in my care to keep them safe and happy. If you prefer your dog(s) to be walked alone, this can be arranged.
I am fully insured for dogs during the walk and whilst they are being transported in my vehicle.
I have completed a Dog First Aid course and always carry a basic kit when walking.
I am City and Guilds qualified, holding an L2 Certificate of Technical Competence in Dog Walking.
